“Eymu’tiek” which is Mi’kmaq for “we are here”. The work is about indigenous identity and a  contemporary look at what it means to identify as native in Newfoundland & Labrador today.  The work was created during the first Indigenous Residency at the Rooms Provincial Art Gallery, in conjunction with Eastern Edge Gallery.  The artist will started this series in Sept.  though Oct.  2018 with four painting going on display at the Rooms in Jan. 2019.
